Hello lovelies and welcome to S P R I N G! I am so excited, I’m practically jumping out of my chair. This Winter has been spent doing a lot of behind the scenes work (like magazine stuff, creating some of my own sewing patterns, and planning the upcoming Best of Summer Sewalong) but I think of Spring as the time to come up out of the dirt and start stretching my petals. Spring has clearly hit sewing blogland and I couldn’t be more thrilled to share my own creations and see what all of YOU have been up to. It’s time to par-tay!
But first. I did some Spring cleaning in my sewing studio and will be holding a destash sale later TODAY on Instagram! I will be selling ONLY designer cottons and vintage linens (no low quality or lame stuff in my sale!). I will be selling fabrics from the following designers and manufacturers:
- Heather Ross (Far Far Away 3)
- Jennifer Paganelli
- Rashida Coleman
- Anna Maria Horner
- Tina Givens
- Michael Glass Fabrics
- Kona Cottons
- Alexander Henry Fabrics
- Ann Kelle
- Aneela Hoey
- Denise Schmidt
- PB Textiles
- Lily Ashbury
- Lizzy House
- Amy Butler
- Michael Miller
- Kelly Tanner for Blue Hill Fabrics
I will even be giving away fabric intermittently throughout the sale. Watch my Instagram profile and the hashtag #grabcailasfabric for details!
Some of the fabric is pre washed and some is straight off the bolt. I will be selling bundles of yardage and fat quarters, with prices ranging from $6 to $15. I can tell you from experience, this is gorgeous fabric at a great price. Plus, I also have vintage fabrics that you can’t find anywhere else. I’m excited! There will be over 30 items listed. Oh, and the Heather Ross FFA3 fabric will be priced at $12 per 1/2 yard. I have prints that aren’t for sale anywhere else online. That price is a steal!
In case you’re wondering, “How does an Instasale work?” here’s how it will go:
I will list the items on my Instagram page HERE. (Follow me on Instagram if you don’t want to miss anything!) I will post the photo and a description of the fabric type, amount, and whether it is washed or unwashed. The first person to comment on the photo with her (or his) PayPal email address gets the fabric. Sound easy? It is! All you need are fast fingers for typing and a PayPal account.
SHIPPING: All the orders from my sale will ship Priority at $5.50. International orders will, of course, cost more so keep that in mind if you are not in the United States. But, yes, I will ship internationally!
PAYMENT: Once the sale is complete I will send you an invoice tonight or tomorrow morning. The invoice needs to be paid within 24 hours or the fabric goes to someone else. I plan on shipping orders Saturday afternoon and Monday morning (if a second trip is necessary).
If you have any questions, please leave them in the comments below. I’m looking forward to the sale and hope to see you all there!
