Saturday Insta-Thanks

I’ve decided to change my weekend thanks around a little bit. If you’re new to CailaMade you may not have seen my weekend posts, where I try to end each week with a list of my thanks for the little details in my life. This is my attempt “to move my focus from the burdens of life to the blessings of now.” (Ann Voscamp)

Honestly, my life is full of a lot of early mornings, writing, chasing after children, cleaning up after children, kissing little cheeks, holding my man’s hand, and chasing joy through the crazy of life. It all goes so fast, and I don’t want to miss one moment! This is my way to write my moments in “ink” and hold them close.

Don’t they say anything on the internet can never truly disappear? Well, then, I etch my thanks in this virtual space, hoping that you are encouraged to embrace all those daily moments that make your life something unique. I’ll probably look over these in later years and wipe my eyes.

I said I was changing things up a little bit, didn’t I? Well, I’ve been enjoying Instagram for about six months now and it’s such a great way to keep track of the special moments from each week. A picture is worth a thousand words, right? How about 16 pictures?

Here’s my INSTA-THANKS for the week:

Line 1: Little thumb-sucker; remote control airplane with Grandpa; Abby at the park; potty training
Line 2: Little legs in Steve Madden boots; dress up; good reading material; shopping in my fabric stash
Line 3: New skirt!; driving to the beach; my surfer-man; Hudson getting ready to surf with daddy
Line 4: Running, birthday lunch of boef bourguignon; lighting candles; 31 years old (almost)!
