Rest, Love, and Cannon Beach

I grew up coming to this beach for one week every summer. In my mind then, and now, Cannon Beach is paradise.

Especially when the sun is (rarely) out.

We just got home to my parent’s house and I’m tucked into my nice warm bed going through the pics my brother took of us near Haystack Rock. Bliss. Beauty. Awe. Love.

I hope you get a chance to relax a little before the summer is over. I’m so glad we took the chance to get away this year, because it turns out we really needed it. The eye twitch I suffered through for a month at home is finally gone, and we’ve reconnected as a family.

Love and peace to each of you reading this post. If you get a chance, find some beauty today. Stare at some fabric, sit beneath the trees, swim in cool water, or simply stare at those beautiful children of yours. We are very lucky blessed women, yes?

I’ll see you back here tomorrow. Love!

We just went camping (with our very large extended family) and it was so nice being outside, at the beach and with family! This looks beautiful and I love that it was mostly shady, my kind of beach day!
