It’s Give-Away Time! {Shwin Designs pattern give-away}

There’s only one thing I can think of that beats buying new fabric or patterns, and that’s WINNING new fabric or patterns. Am I right?

Some awesome shops have joined in with the Best of Fall pattern review series and are offering truly amazing giveaways. Make sure you scroll to the bottom of this post to see what else we are giving away!
We are kicking off the giveaways with a generous offering by Shwin Designs! Their Lucy Tunic was featured by Andrea on Monday* and is fab-u-lous. On my list to sew is the Abbey jacket, which would be perfect for my own little Abby-girl.
Shwin Designs
The winner of this give-away will receive a 3-pack of patterns from the Shwin Designs pattern shop. You have until midnight PST on Tuesday, October 23rd to comment on this post and enter. Winners for ALL the give-aways will be announced on Wednesday, Oct. 24.
Entering to win is easy! Simply leave a comment at the bottom of this post and answer me this:
What pattern or tutorial is on your list to sew this Fall?
Easy, right? Let’s get started…
Oh, wait–I  can’t forget about our other give-aways! Throughout the rest of this series you will have a chance to enter giveaways from the following shops:
The Fabric Fairy is offering 3 yards of fabric and free shipping to one lucky winner! This is one of my absolutely FAVORITE places to buy knits. The fabric is fun and modern and the customer service simply can’t be beat. In fact, you should start shopping immediately because The Fabric Fairy is having a huge fall clearance sale RIGHT NOW. Use the coupon code “autumn”during checkout to receive 15% off your purchase. Don’t miss it–the sale ends Oct. 21st.
Made by Rae is also offering a generous give-away: A Flashback Skinny Tee pattern (big kid or little kid, your choice) to three lucky winners! If you’ve been looking at the KCWC flickr pool recently, then you know that this t-shirt pattern is very popular now, and for good reason. My own sewing table looks like a Flashback Tee assembly line. I’ll show you some pictures on Thursday.
Check back throughout the week for these, and another mystery give-away. *wink*
Please join me in giving Shwin Designs, The Fabric Fairy and Made by Rae a HUGE THANK YOU! Visit their shops, buy their patterns, pin their stuff, share the love. Oh, and don’t forget about the Oliver + S coupon: use the discount code CAILA20 to receive 20% any paper Oliver + S pattern from now through Friday (midnight ET, Oct. 19).
Isn’t this fun??! Ok friends, I’ll talk to ya tomorrow…
*In the interest of full disclosure I want you to know that Andrea wrote her review of the Lucy Tunic by Shwin Designs before they offered us products to give away. I contacted them after her post went live to see if they were interested in participating, and they were! Just wanted you to know that you can trust these reviews. No give aways were solicited before these patterns were chosen for review. 🙂

    I am getting to know my grandmother’s 1950s Pfaff 130 sewing machine by making the Flashback Skinny Tee from Made By Rae. The pattern is clear and approachable even for a novice like me and I am so pleased with my results so far that I may be making a bunch of these!

    I am wanting to move from “mending sewing” to sewing for my youngest before she is too old. I have silk pants that I want to make into a Christmas dress, but I don’t have a pattern. The Shwin Claire or Maggie would be amazing.

    Really want to find a pattern…or may have to make my own. For a great Twirl dress for Olivia, she has this really old and small christmas dress she keep putting on because when she dances and twirls, the dress opens up really big.
