All that I have sown {Week 13}

For this I am thankful…

  • Rain, rain and more rain
  • Water for the parched Southern-California ground
  • Flowers growing
  • Green on the hills
  • The prospect of summer
  • My parent’s hot tub
  • Friends, Cody and Cassie, over for dinner. So. Much. Fun!
  • Homemade BBQ chicken pizza
  • Running 16 miles last week and walking 7.5 for a total of 23.5 miles. Wow. A month ago I wasn’t exercising at all.
  • Running a little faster
  • Easter. He is Risen!
  • Abby’s Easter dress
  • A helicopter of Easter day. Invited friends coming to church. So much Life and Love around us in that place.
  • Wonderful guest posts coming soon to CailaMade. I’m so excited!
  • Taking a little break so the loved ones in my life truly feel loved
  • Hudson’s friends turning five. He will soon be turning five. Where did my baby boy go?
  • Abby fearless on the trampoline, surrounded by boys, hugging her blankie the whole time.
  • She is tough and she is sensitive all at the same time
  • Time spent alone with her
  • She helping me with the scratch on my arm. “Oh, mommy. You owie hurt?”
  • Asking her, “How do you spell Ethan?” A pause. “Um. E?” Pretty good for a two y/o! I almost fell out on the ground.
  • Planning a space party for Hudson’s 5th birthday
  • The Land of Nod catalogue. So stinkin’ adorable!
  • Contemplating a new handmade wardrobe. Something must be done about the state of my current wardrobe.
  • Friends who’ve known me since I was 14. That’s a long time for me!
  • Talking with Lisa (my bestie from high school) about her face art and YouTube channel. She does amazing work!
  • Our children playing so well together. We both have three, and our babies are mere months apart.
  • Family away from family
  • I get to wake up and spend my day with these children of mine.
  • Another day to live
  • To here the birds chirp
  • Hold my child’s hand
  • Kiss my husband’s lips
  • Laugh with my family
  • Sew a dress
  • Sing a song
  • Live
  • Thank you, God, for all this.
  • Thank you.
