2013 Tutorial Roundup!

Happy New Year everyone! I know I’ve been silent here for awhile, but that’s ok because we are all supposed to be enjoying our families, watching old movies, eating cinnamon rolls, and sharing good cheer. Not sitting in front of our computers, right?

I’ve been doing all of those things except for eating anything at all because last week (on Christmas night) I came down with the worst stomach flu I’ve had in all my life. Perhaps you’ve heard about the new super norovirus going around? I don’t know if that virus is exactly what we had, but ours was very similar and very fierce. It seems like every year at Christmas we come down with a terrible illness, hunker down against the world and all it’s viral-y, bacterial evils, and recover together.
To ring in the New Year, I thought it would be fun to do a quick roundup of all my sewing tutorials from 2013. It was fun to look back through my blog and remember all the moments of inspiration and the pictures of my children as they’ve grown older. For example, I can hardly believe Stryder was this little, or that Abby had two birthday parties. (Never again). I forgot how well these Quicksilver-inspired shorts used to fit Hudson. I am so proud of the way all three of my children have grown and matured this year. To be honest, I got a little teary-eyed looking through these posts!
Please enjoy this roundup of my sewing tutorials from 2013, and have a wonderful New Years celebration! For the most part, they are listed from left to right, with occasional repeats. Click on the name of the tutorial below the picture to see the full post.

I’ll see you guys on the other side, for more sewing fun in 2014. Much love to you and yours!

Happy New Year Caila! What a lot of beautiful things you have made. I have had your paperbag dress bookmarked for yonks and now I am adding the summer whimsy sundress to my list too. Hope you are feeling better!

Hopefully you are all on the mend now! We we’re find for Christmas, but starting with our little girl on Saturday and ending with my husband yesterday afternoon we all got the horrible stomach bug here. Yuck. I’ve had my fill of sickness for the year already 🙂 The only bonus was the down time to catch up with everyone’s favorites of 2013 posts!
